1. These terms
These Terms govern use of Firmeego, operated by Firmeego. By creating an account or using signed-in marketplace functionality, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Notice. If you use Firmeego on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that organisation. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering the transactions you initiate. Account information must be accurate and kept current. You are responsible for protecting your password, authentication device and recovery codes and for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised access. Do not share an individual sign-in between people; organisation accounts are intended to support authorised members separately.
3. Marketplace role
Firmeego provides software and marketplace services for discovering, evaluating and progressing potential acquisitions. Unless an individual service expressly states otherwise, Firmeego is not the buyer, seller, broker, legal adviser, accountant, tax adviser, lender, insurer, escrow agent or settlement agent for the underlying acquisition.
Firmeego does not hold the purchase price of a business. Buyer and seller remain responsible for definitive contracts, professional due diligence, financing, regulatory approvals, taxes and settlement through appropriate external arrangements.
4. Seller responsibilities
A seller or representative must have the right and authority to create the listing and communicate about the opportunity. Listing information must be accurate to the seller's knowledge, must not deliberately omit a fact in a way that makes the listing misleading, and must be updated when a material fact changes.
Financial figures must be labelled using the appropriate basis. Historical results, estimates, projections and illustrative figures must not be presented as the same thing. A seller must not describe a claim as independently verified unless the corresponding Firmeego interface explicitly shows a current verification result.
A seller must have the necessary rights and lawful basis to upload photographs, documents, personal data, contracts and other material. Confidential documents should be limited to what is reasonably needed for the proposed acquisition and should be redacted where unrelated personal or sensitive data is not necessary.
5. Buyer responsibilities
Buyers must use listing and confidential information only for legitimate evaluation of an opportunity and in accordance with any applicable confidentiality acknowledgement or separate agreement. Buyers must not misuse Deal Room access, attempt to bypass permissions, scrape confidential material, impersonate another person, make knowingly false offers or use Firmeego to facilitate unlawful activity.
A buyer must independently assess the opportunity. Firmeego does not guarantee the accuracy of seller-declared information, future revenue, profit, transferability of a contract, ownership of an asset, legal status of a business or suitability of an acquisition simply because information appears on the platform.
6. Verification and evidence review
Verification is scoped to the specific badge or review result shown. Evidence can be incomplete, become outdated, be revoked or support only part of a seller's broader claim. A review is not an audit unless explicitly described as one and performed under an appropriate professional engagement.
Account verification and submission of listing evidence are not payment gates. Firmeego may request additional evidence, record a partial result, reject a review or revoke a badge if later information materially undermines the basis on which it was issued. Any future paid trust or review service must be separately described before checkout and must never guarantee a positive result or public badge.
7. Deal Rooms and confidentiality
Sellers control access to confidential Deal Room material subject to Firmeego's technical and safety controls. Access can require seller approval, a confidentiality step or explicit document permission. Revocation prevents future authorised downloads through Firmeego but cannot retrieve copies a recipient already lawfully downloaded.
An in-platform confidentiality acknowledgement records the text and workflow step accepted. It is not represented as a universally sufficient NDA for every jurisdiction or transaction. Parties should use a separately reviewed agreement where the transaction requires one.
8. Messages and offers
Firmeego messages and transaction records are intended to organise communication between the parties. Offers submitted through the standard Firmeego workflow are indicative and are not intended by Firmeego to constitute the definitive purchase agreement. An offer marked accepted in principle advances the transaction workflow but does not itself transfer ownership or require Firmeego to settle funds.
Parties should not rely on the platform status as a substitute for signed definitive documentation. Transaction stages can record progress but do not certify that an external legal requirement has been completed.
9. Firmeego charges
Prices, currency, applicable taxes, billing period and the service being purchased are shown before a Firmeego charge is submitted. Paid placement buys visibility only and does not improve a listing's verification status or represent an endorsement.
For a one-off service already activated or substantially performed, the fee is not ordinarily refundable merely because the business does not sell, the buyer does not proceed or a verification review does not produce a positive result. If Firmeego fails to provide a paid service because of a platform error, an appropriate remedy or refund will be considered. Any mandatory statutory cancellation or refund right that applies to a particular customer or transaction takes priority over this paragraph.
Recurring subscriptions can be cancelled through the available account controls. Unless the checkout terms state otherwise, cancellation stops renewal at the end of the current paid period rather than retrospectively cancelling a period already supplied.
10. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use Firmeego for fraud, deception, money laundering, sanctions evasion, unlawful discrimination, malicious software, unauthorised disclosure of confidential information, rights infringement, harassment, spam, manipulation of marketplace metrics, duplicate-account abuse or attempts to defeat technical access controls. You must not list an opportunity that cannot lawfully be transferred or represented in the manner claimed.
11. Moderation and enforcement
Firmeego can request corrections or evidence, restrict visibility, suspend a listing, revoke document access, remove content, limit functionality or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, address security or fraud risk, respond to a report, protect another user or comply with law. Material administrative and verification actions can be recorded in audit logs.
12. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of material you lawfully upload. You grant Firmeego the limited rights reasonably necessary to store, process, reproduce and display that material to operate the Firmeego service according to your selected visibility and access settings. You must not upload material for which you lack the necessary rights.
The Firmeego name, software, interface and original platform material remain the property of their respective rights holders and may not be copied or commercially exploited outside normal use of the service without permission.
13. Availability and changes
Firmeego aims to provide a reliable service but can require maintenance, security changes or temporary restrictions. Features can change where necessary to improve security, comply with law or develop the service. Material changes to paid services or these Terms will be communicated where required.
14. Liability and due diligence
Business acquisitions involve commercial risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Firmeego is not responsible for a party's commercial decision, expected profit, financing outcome or loss caused by relying on seller-declared information that Firmeego did not verify. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Users should obtain appropriate professional advice for material legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, technical and commercial questions before completing an acquisition.
15. Ending use of Firmeego
You may stop using Firmeego and request account closure subject to records that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing or dispute purposes. Firmeego may suspend or close access for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, unlawful conduct or material security risk.
16. Operator and contact

17. Governing law and mandatory rights
Unless mandatory consumer, employment, regulatory or other law requires otherwise, these Terms and non-contractual disputes relating to Firmeego are governed by the law of the operator country identified above. This clause does not remove mandatory rights or jurisdiction protections that apply to a user under applicable law.
18. Buy & Sell, High-Value and Commercial listings
Item sellers must accurately describe ownership or authority to sell, identity of the item, condition, material defects, location, price, taxes or charges they control, and any restriction that materially affects lawful transfer. Sellers must not present screenshots, video, valuations, serial numbers, title records or other material as proving more than they reasonably establish.
Firmeego does not permit listings for illegal goods or services; stolen or counterfeit goods; firearms, ammunition, explosives or prohibited weapons; illegal drugs or controlled recreational substances; nicotine products; alcohol; prescription-only or controlled medicines offered outside a lawful authorised channel; malware or illicit surveillance products; unlawful wildlife products; or other goods whose sale through the platform would be unlawful or materially unsafe. Live-animal sales are not part of the current Buy & Sell marketplace.
For high-value property, vehicles, vessels, aviation assets, jewellery, watches, art or similar assets, users remain responsible for independent title, lien/finance, identity, condition, provenance, planning/land, tax and transfer checks appropriate to the asset and jurisdiction.
19. External settlement for high-value transactions
Firmeego can record a seller/buyer decision to use an independent payment, escrow, legal, conveyancing or settlement provider. Unless a separately authorised service is introduced and expressly identified, Firmeego does not receive, safeguard or release the underlying purchase funds. A transaction status shown on Firmeego records workflow progress and is not itself proof that legal title or money has transferred.
20. Jobs
Employers are responsible for lawful and accurate job information, authority to recruit, compensation and material working conditions, and compliance with applicable employment, equality, immigration, advertising and recruitment rules. Job posts must not unlawfully discriminate, impersonate another organisation, demand prohibited payments from applicants, conceal a materially different role or facilitate fraud.
Applicants must submit information they are entitled to provide and must not misuse employer or other applicant information. Firmeego can remove expired, misleading, unsafe or unlawful job content. A Firmeego job listing does not guarantee employment, eligibility, immigration permission, salary, employer solvency or the truth of employer claims.
21. Professional Services
Service providers are responsible for having the licences, professional permissions, insurance, qualifications and authority required for the services they offer in each relevant jurisdiction. A credential or evidence review by Firmeego is scoped to the material reviewed and is not a substitute for checking current professional standing or obtaining advice appropriate to the transaction.
Customers and providers are responsible for agreeing the actual engagement scope, professional terms, fees and legally required disclosures. Reviews can be tied to completed on-platform engagements and must reflect genuine experience without manipulation, harassment or prohibited content.
22. Support, reports and privacy requests
Users can report bugs, safety concerns, suspected fraud or other platform issues through the in-platform Support Centre. Privacy and data-rights requests can also be submitted and tracked there. Users must not abuse reporting or privacy mechanisms to harass others, obtain another person's confidential information or interfere with legitimate record-retention obligations.
23. Search, crawlers, analytics, advertising and providers
Public Firmeego pages can be indexed or summarised by search and other public-discovery services in accordance with Firmeego's crawler settings. Private account, support, application, Deal Room and administration content is not intended as public content. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are subject to Firmeego's published cookie/privacy controls and applicable consent requirements.
Firmeego can use third-party hosting, email, payment, analytics, AI or other service providers to operate particular functions. Naming or using a provider does not mean that provider certifies, endorses or guarantees Firmeego or a marketplace transaction. Where a user deliberately opens a provider-hosted service, that provider's applicable terms and privacy information can also apply to that service.
24. Buyer Requests and matching
Buyer Requests are search and matching tools, not purchase commitments, proof of funds or guarantees that a buyer will proceed. Buyers must enter genuine criteria, choose an appropriate visibility setting and keep active requests reasonably current. Private requests are used only for matching. Anonymous requests can be publicly discoverable without the buyer account name. Public requests can be publicly discoverable with the buyer account name. Buyers must not place confidential contact, financial or identity information in text they choose to make public. A match means that a public business listing passed the explicit criteria used by the matching service; it does not verify suitability, affordability, financing, seller claims or the legal merits of a transaction.
25. AI-assisted tools
Firmeego can offer optional AI-assisted features to structure or summarise information supplied or selected by a user. AI output can be incomplete or wrong and must be reviewed. An AI Fit Brief, import suggestion, generated question, search interpretation or other AI result is not verification, professional advice, a valuation, an investment recommendation or a guarantee that an opportunity is suitable. Firmeego does not authorise AI output to publish a listing, approve verification evidence or complete a transaction automatically unless a future feature expressly states a different reviewed workflow.
Users must not deliberately submit third-party confidential, copyrighted, personal or regulated information to an AI-assisted feature unless they have the authority and lawful basis to do so.
26. Listing import and migration
Listing import exists to reduce duplicate work for authorised sellers and representatives. By importing a URL, text, CSV or screenshot/photo, you confirm that you are authorised to reuse the content and that the imported facts can lawfully be placed in your Firmeego draft. Firmeego can structure the source automatically, but the resulting draft remains the account holder's responsibility and is not published automatically.
27. Service notifications and device alerts
Firmeego can send essential service messages and, where you opt in, meaningful device/browser alerts about selected security, verification, buyer/deal, billing or support activity. Delivery depends on the destination, browser/device permission and technical availability. A notification is a convenience and is not a substitute for checking time-sensitive contractual, legal, payment or transaction obligations directly.
28. Diagnostics and automated safeguards
Firmeego can record application-error references, security events, rate-limit signals and other proportionate diagnostics needed to protect and maintain the platform. A one-click error report can connect a user-visible reference to internal diagnostic context without requiring the user to retype technical information. Automated safeguards can delay, block or request additional checks for suspicious or unsafe activity, but material marketplace, verification and account decisions remain subject to the applicable Firmeego workflow and review controls.
